Future appearances & futuristic space cults!
In which you can catch me at a SFF convention this month or listen to a short tale.
Hello, hello!
It’s been a while since my last update. I had a very slow-news summer but a wonderful holiday nonetheless! Got to spend some time at home, visit the place my newest writing project originates from (hush hush…), go to a conference for my day job, and I’m currently somewhere in Spain doing an escape room trip with my past writing mentor, currently good friend!
All in all, I’ve just been eating a LOT of good food this summer.

How it feels starting new project after new project so I never have to think about how the previous project is doing in whatever stage of publishing it’s in…
Autumn has come however and it’s time to go back to work, which brings me to my two news in this update.
First of all, convention appearances!
I’m excited to announce I’m participating in Octocon again! I had a lovely time at my local SFF convention last year and while I’m sad I cannot attend in person this time, you can find me on three online panels over the weekend!
I’ll be talking about fandom and fanfic writing, horrors in different forms of media, and moderating a thrilling panel about villains in fiction!
You can find more information about the con over on their website, and join us online on the weekend of the 11-12th of October!

My schedule for Octocon weekend!
My second piece of news is that my flash story “Repeat After Me” is going to be in the Manawaker Studio’s Flash Fiction Podcast! It’s a short story about an odd cult that seemed to form out of nowhere on a tiny, distant planet. The episode will air on October 16th but here is a little preview!

You can find the podcast on Podcast Addict (or Spotify if you prefer that!)
That’s all I can say on my end for now! Wishing everyone a lovely spooky season, and I will hopefully be in touch again soon!

Post-script random science fact: I am not a space kind of scientist but I thought I’d find a space fact for this newsletter. Did you know that the moon is apparently kind of lemon-shaped? It has two distinct bulges which make it more lemon-like than round. I’m not sure what to do with this information.
